The scale of damage caused by extensive rainfall and flooding in national parks along the coastal escarpment south of Clyde Mountain was today described as ‘staggering’ and will result in the closure of some areas to the public until the damage can be repaired according to the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS).
