Threadfin Salmon are one of the most sought after fish in the tropics, better than barra on the table, and a strong fighter to boot. Rob and locals sight fish for Threadfin in less than 30 cm of water, where the knowing the subtle signs of their beat means the difference between failure and success.
A Heli fishing Trip offers a bird’s eye view of the territory and results in some interesting new locations and species. To top things off Rob teams up with local indigenous fisherman; Steve Kenyon from the Limilngan-Wulna People. Steve is sharp eyed traditional bamboo spear hunter who can hit a barra from 20 meters away.
