11 year old Caitlin, the oldest of the Paxy Girls, has the following blog:
We have arrived in Kakadu after a 3 hour drive....after a few stops on the way, first to see our new Indigenous family friends as they wanted to give us a gift...a small didgeridoo and painted picture and a non painted didgeridoo or us to paint! (Hailey is now in her cot blowing on it) she is good at it!....Then we went to windows to the wetlands Hailey was terrified!!! (at a sound display). We then went on a tour to see jumping crocodiles. As Emily would say we got the best seat in the house...next to the window (OPEN) were crocs would jump RIGHT in front of us!!!!!! Dad got some really cool shots while Hailey said jump, jump, jump 1000 times until it would jump...there was a “bubby” one that Hailey loved.
Enough of real crocs how about the one were staying in!!!!! Our hotel is awesome! The first thing we saw was the yellow eye that stood out from the bush...dad left us in the car while he got the keys, it wasn’t long until Emily and I discovered that we were in the mouth!!! The Resort is ENORMOUS and looks just like a real croc... we are staying next to the right foot ...near the pool...we jumped in the pool yet to find that it actually felt like we were in a crocs belly! Everywhere we look there are COROCS, CROCS and more CROCS!!! Having heaps of fun counting down the days until we get our Winnebago.
