Hi All,

It is a great time of year to be fishing and I hope you are out there getting amongst a few.

In between all the family, friends and fishing activities I have started filming the new series of Fishing Australia and will be keeping in contact each and every week via this web site. Stay tuned for some reports and fishing tips from around the country along with some hot new product reviews.

You can also use the search function to help find info you may need, eg type in: bream beach and you will find a stack of info. Other examples might include: barra monduran, cairns spanish mackerel, kayak jewfish, flathead on lures etc.

I have also just released a new DVD entitled "FISHING with Rob Paxevanos, Volume 1". It is designed to get newcomers started in fishing with topics like jetty fishing, surf fishing, flatties on plastics and more. The information is detailed yet fun and simple.

There is also some high end barra (impoundment and wild), jewfish, and other species on the DVD for those who want the ultimate challenge. A mates first jewfish, and 10 year old tom woods 30 kg barra that towed him through the timber at night are just a few highlights.

I thought very carefully about the info in this DVD and I am confident that it will save you the many years it took me to research and learn the best ways to achieve your fishing goals.

You can get my DVD at BCF and all good tackle stores, but depending where you live many shops are sold out already so you may have to place an order at your local. I also urge anglers out there to take care this summer, obey the boating rules and stick to fishing regulations-pick up the rule book at your local tackle shop if necessary.
