2010 Episode Four - Source to Sea

Join us this week as Rob explores one of his favourite spots in Australia; the Clyde River in Southern New South Wales. The Clyde River is the largest unchecked river in the state and boasts a pristine catchment area that has less farmland than any river in Australia. From the small streams and pools at its source in the remote Budawang National Park, Rob follows the river's course as it winds its way down from the mountains, through the transition from freshwater river to saltwater estuary, to the river mouth at Batemans Bay where it meets the Tasman Sea.

Exploring the many different fish habitats the river offers, from freshwater fishing for Australian bass and estuary perch to targeting bream, flathead and other estuarine species with his young family, through to the challenge that is fishing for jewfish and kingfish, Rob and his family sample the whole spectrum of fishing available on this special waterway. This is an episode of Fishing Australia that will surprise even the locals.

Be watching Saturday afternoon, June 26th for another great episode of Fishing Australia. See our Television Schedule for the latest on-air times.
