Rob joins Dean Ferguson and his family as they sail the Whitsundays, taking in the sights and sounds and great fishing on offer.

Dean Ferguson is a larrikin, a classic Aussie character, a fishing freak complete with a job to match as the second-in-charge of Rapala Australia. Every year, Dean hires a 42' Cat and takes his wife, four sons and their girlfriends on a holiday adventure cruising the islands and reefs of the Whitsundays. Whilst relaxing and sightseeing in this picture postcard region are high on the agenda, Dean and his family are constantly on the lookout for the chance to wet a line in pursuit of some of the best reef and pelagic fishing that North Queensland has to offer.

Rob tags along with the Ferguson clan to gain some insight into this Aussie fishing family. Along the way one of the kids hooks into a massive fish that quickly peels off hundreds of metres of line. It will take lots of skill and even more luck if the Ferguson clan are going to get a look at it this creature of the night.
