In this episode, Underbelly – A Tale of Two Cities’ actors, Tim McCunn and Nathan Page join forces in a fight with one of the ocean’s deadliest when they hook a mako shark off shore from Merimbula on the South Coast of New South Wales.
Episode five of Underbelly – A Tale of Two Cities saw Melbourne standover man Brian Kane (Tim McCunn) arrange Australia’s most audacious gangland ‘hit’ on Ray ‘Chuck’ Bennet (Nathan Page) to avenge the murder of his brother, Les Kane.
Despite their deadly on-screen differences, Nathan and Tim enjoy casting a line off the rocks together when they get a chance. But this time, they step aboard a 42 foot game fishing boat, Rathlin II, with fishing expert and host of Fishing Australia, Rob Paxevanos.
Exchanging weapons for fishing rods, they take to the water in search of more action, thankfully this time their victim survived, with the Mako shark tagged and released.
