In this episode, Rob Paxevanos is on the road filming in Western Australia while celebrating his 40th birthday.  Exmouth, with its crystal clear turquoise waters, is one of the best spots for tropical fishing and the location for this episode of Fishing Australia.

However things don't go quite according to plan as Rob and the team strike some average weather early in shoot, followed by a broken down charter boat and a skipper who couldn't take him out thanks to a back injury!  However a bit of birthday luck sees fortunes change when a guide soon to be dubbed "the Messiah" arrives on the scene bringing some awesome weather and some red hot fishing that has to be seen to be believed.

Joining the Fishing Australia team on the trip is the unstoppable Michael Thompson, Sports Anchor Man for Channel Nine in Perth, Darren Cossill from Novotel and Steve Dall of BCF.

In the calm but shark-infested waters of Ningaloo Reef, Rob and the team soon learn that they have to share their catch.  However, Rob and the team experience some great tropical sport fishing landing coral trout, tuna, golden trevally, Chinaman cod and half a Spanish mackerel!

In the end, Rob has a ball tackling two of the ocean’s great predators!
